News and notes from the world of Daniel

OK, so here we go…

  • I’ve had this nervous feeling of anticipation in my stomach the last two weeks.  Good news is on the way.  I know it.  However, waiting for it and being patient is so difficult.  Your mind races, you question things and you start to wonder “what the heck is going on here?”  But, good things are-a-coming!
  • Daniel Bard of the Red Sox just blew the game by giving up a bloop single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th.  NOT good.  And what’s going on with Oritz?  His May was unbelievable and now he’s 0 for 451,623 in June.  Baseball is one of those games that is so streaky and mental.  With all the scrutiny over him in Boston you can only wonder what’s going on in his head.
  • I can’t get over how awful Paul Pierce is playing for the Celtics.  His little head fake with a double pump clutch isn’t working.  Time for a new move?  Yes.
  • I’m watching the game right now and there’s 8:22 left in the game.  Glen “Big Baby” Davis is going NUTS!  He must be in The Zone.
  • SEO and SEM are really starting to interest me a lot and I’m spending a lot of time learning everything I can about it.  Maybe I should learn HTML first but…eh.  One blog that’s starting to help me out a lot is http://www.mattcutts.com/blog.  His latest post of a site review at Google I/O is wonderful.  The next thing I need to master:  Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • I spent the day at the beach and pool with my buddy Cory.  I’d imagine this is what retired life is like.  I love it, but would get really bored if this was my every day life.  It’s time to get back to work!
  • On that note, I am actively pursuing freelancing work.  If you or anyone you know needs a “get it done” marketer, let me know.

That’s about it for now…
